Ahead of this weekend’s Champions League final between Real Madrid and Liverpool, the Reds have come within inches of opening the scoring. The Reds, captained by Jurgen Klopp, enjoy a commanding lead in this weekend’s showdown.
Although Sadio Mane has gotten the closest to breaking through Thibaut Courtois’ net, he has yet to score. When the Senegalese international danced into the box, he unleashed a thunderbolt of an effort, which had it not been for Courtois’ fingertip stop, would have very surely given his team a first-half lead.
