Manchester United’s Players Have Their Roles Rated 3-0 Brentford is a London borough. Mata thrives and Ronaldo sets the bar high.
Manchester United romped to a resounding victory.
For the first time this season, we can confidently state that our team handled the pressure Brentford applied to us, even though David de Gea struggled to cope with the away side’s intense press in the first half.
Despite our best effort in a meaningless game, it’s a sad that we were unable to qualify for the Champions League next year.
Although many United fans had intended to leave Old Trafford after the final whistle, most stayed to show their appreciation to the team with a round of applause.
the seven-year tenure of David De Gea
Just before the hour mark, he made one of his famous foot saves to keep the game tight. Christian Eriksen’s free kick was also well-stopped by the goalkeeper. It was nice to get a clean sheet, considering we haven’t had nearly enough of them so far this year.
Dalot has a level of five.
In the first half, he came within inches of assisting Ronaldo with a cross. As good as he’s ever been.
Lindelof – 6.
Both of the defenders had a contribution in keeping the score at zero.
Varane has a score of seven.
Tonight was his United debut, and he scored his first goal. Wishing him the best of luck for the future.
Tess – five
After recovering from an error in the first seconds, this was far from his worst performance.
Mathias – 7.
The midfield was given a boost of confidence. Wherever he ends up next season, best of luck to him.
McTominay scored four points.
Another mediocre showing. I’m not sure if it’s a confidence issue, given our awful season, but McTominay needs to be properly developed over the next year.
Fernandes – 6
A solid start to the game’s score. After 53 minutes, it was unfortunate that he didn’t get a brace.
Mathews – 8
This season, why has Mata not started more games? It was a strong showing.
Elanga has a score of six.
Fernandes’ first-half assist was sensational. After that brilliant moment, it faded away.
Ronaldo – 9 [Most Improved Player]
Playing with Mata was a lot of fun. His goal was well-deserved after such an outstanding performance, in which he set new benchmarks.
Fred, age six
After a lengthy layoff, this was a solid appearance.
Jones scored a five
This appears to be his final game for the Red Devils at Old Trafford. Matic and I both wish him the best.
It’s a 5 for Cavani!
Another goodbye wave.
